The essentials at a glance

Circular cycling tour through the Fribourg region with medieval towns Murten and Fribourg, Gruyères Castle, and Maison Cailler chocolate factory. The route covers approximately 30-40 km daily through gently rolling hills along Lake Schiffenen and the Three Lakes Region. Includes Fribourg fondue, daily luggage transfers, and digital navigation app. Easy difficulty level suitable for leisure cyclists.

A perfect balance

"Moitié-Moitié" or half/half is the name of the most popular Swiss fondue. The two Fribourg cheeses Vacherin and Gruyère are mixed in half.

The canton of Fribourg also presents itself in perfect balance on this cycle tour. Almost Mediterranean at the bathing lakes in the north, alpine in the mountains in the south. Medieval charm in the small towns of Romont and Murten, lively and youthful in the student city of Fribourg. You can discover all these highlights comfortably by bike. Finish off with a Fribourg fondue. Moité-Moitié, of course, just as it should be.
